Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:

The following events were reported on October 21, 2013:


Officers were dispatched to a business on West Flaming Gorge Way, in reference to a report of trespassing.

Officers responded to an address on West Virginia Street, regarding an abandoned 911. Upon arrival, Officers determined it was phone line problems.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on South 5th East, in reference to a cat in a trap.

School Resource Officers investigated a report of abuse, at the Green River High School.

Officers were dispatched to the area of FMC Park, in reference to a traffic complaint.

Officers responded to an address on Miller Street, regarding a suspicious person report.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Knotty Pine Street, in reference to a possible computer scam.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Iowa Avenue, regarding an aggressive dog at large.

Officers were dispatched to the Police Department lobby, in reference to a citizen assist.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Iowa Avenue, regarding a dog at large.

Officers were dispatched to an address on East 2nd South, in reference to a report of malicious mischief.

Officers responded to the Smith’s Food and Drug parking lot, regarding an intoxicated subject. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with 61 year old Andres Valladares. Valladares was subsequently arrested for Public Intoxication. Valladares was later transported to the Detention Facility.

Officers were dispatched to a business on Uinta Drive, in reference to a report of trespassing at the business.

Officers responded to an address on East Flaming Gorge Way, regarding a report of suspicious circumstances.

Officers were dispatched to Adult Probation and Parole, in reference to an Arrest and Hold Order. Upon arrival, Officers placed 18 year old Christopher Dean under arrest. Dean was transported to the Detention Facility, where he was booked in, stemming from original charges of Larceny.
