Officers were dispatched to the Maverik (59 Uinta) in reference to a possible runaway seen in the store. The subject left prior to Officers arriving on scene.

Officers assisted an outside agency in locating a subject that was believed to be in Green River.

An abandoned vehicle was reported on New Jersey and North Carolina Way. The owner was contacted and was given a warning.

Kirby Holloway, DOB 05/07/93, was arrested on an outstanding Sweetwater County warrant.

Officers completed numerous VIN inspections at various locations, including the Police Department, South Dakota Street, Clear View Dr, and E Flaming Gorge.

A fraud complaint was investigated. The reporting person received a phone call from someone claiming to work for the federal government. The subject stated that the reporting person had been selected for a US Government grant and that she needed his bank account information in order to deposit the money. The reporting person refused to provide his personal information and the subject hung up.

A suspicious incident was reported to police concerning a post on a local business website. The post advised that the person would offer items in exchange for a new born baby.

Animal Control Officers contained a dog at large on Medicine Bow. The dog was returned to the owner and a warning was issued.

A credit card fraud report was made at the police department. The victim noticed numerous unauthorized charges on her debit card. The investigation is ongoing.

Officers assisted with a civil standby on Buckboard. The reporting person needed to collect personal belongings from a residence that she was recently evicted from.

A stolen cell phone was reported on Hitching Post. Using the internal GPS tracking system, the phone and suspect were located. The case has been turned over to the County Attorney’s Office.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Yates for property damage. The investigation is ongoing.

Animal Control Officers impounded a black and tan dog on Citadel. The dog is possibly a Rottweiler and Shepherd mix.

A contained cat was turned over to Animal Control Officers at the Green River shelter.

A harassment complaint was made on S Wagonwheel. Officers met with all parties involved and the dispute was resolved.

Officers were dispatched to an address on E 3rd N in reference to questions concerning family issues and civil matters.

Officers responded to a residence on Homestead in reference to a missing child. The child was later located a friend’s residence.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Clark Street for a child that was choking on some food. The item was dislodged and no additional medical service was needed.

A disturbance was reported on Crossbow. The subjects involved were contacted and it was determined to have been a verbal argument. The dispute was resolved and no further assistance was needed.

A traffic complaint was made on Commerce. Officers made contact with the suspect vehicle and a warning was issued.
