The following events were reported on September 27, 2013:
Officers escorted a wide load semi truck and trailer through town. The equipment on the trailer was too big to travel through the I-80 tunnels.
Officers were dispatched to the High School parking lot, in reference to a traffic complaint.
Officers responded to the Sweetwater County Detention Facility, in order to transport a male prisoner back to Green River for Municipal Court.
Officers were dispatched to the Maverik Country Store, in reference to a gas skip.
Officers responded to the Trona Valley Credit Union parking lot, in reference to a 2 vehicle crash.
School Resource Officers investigated a report of sexual assault, from a female at the High School. It was reported that the assault took place several years ago.
Officers were dispatched to the Smith’s Food and Drug parking lot, regarding a two (2) vehicle crash.
Officers contacted a subject that lives in Lyman, over the phone, in reference to a civil issue that occurred in Green River.
Officers assisted a subject, at an address on Iowa Avenue, in regards to a civil issue.
Officers responded to Adult Probation and Parole, in reference to a subject with an active warrant. Upon arrival, 18 year old Christopher Dean was placed under arrest, Dean was later transported to the jail, where he was booked in on an original charge of Larceny.
Officers were dispatched to an address on East Flaming Gorge Way, in regards to a citizen assist.
Officers responded to an address on East Flaming Gorge Way, in reference to a report of suspicious circumstances.
Animal Control Officers responded to the area of Juniper Street and Ironwood Drive, in reference to a dog at large.
Officers were dispatched to an address on McKinley Street, in regards to a report of property damage. This investigation is ongoing.
Officers responded to the Police Department lobby in reference to a report of fraud. This investigation is ongoing.
Officers investigated a report of a crash at the Green River High School parking lot.
Officers responded to the St. Johns Thrift Shop, in regards to a transient possibly trespassing on the property.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Cumorah Way, in reference to a juvenile problem.
Officers responded to an address on West 5th North, in regards to a two (2) vehicle crash.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Mansface Street, in reference to a Lifeline alarm. The alarm was determined to be accidental.
Officers responded to an address on Pecan Street, in regards to a residential burglar alarm.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Greasewood Street, in reference to an auto burglary, that occurred the night before.
Officers responded to the area of Astle Avenue and Uinta Drive, in regards to a REDDI report.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Crossbow Drive, in reference to a larceny.
Officers responded to an address on West Teton Boulevard, regarding a report of suspicious circumstances.
Officers were dispatched to an address on East Flaming Gorge Way, in reference to a citizen assist.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Cliffview Drive, regarding a dog at large.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Riverview Drive, in reference to a citizen assist.
Officers and Ambulance Personnel responded to an address on Saratoga Drive, regarding an extremely intoxicated male subject that had fallen and could not get up.
The following events were reported on September 28, 2013:
While on a traffic stop, Officers discovered that the driver of the vehicle, 20 year old Gregory Loertscher, had an active warrant for his arrest out of Sublette County, Wyoming. Loertscher was placed under arrest and later transported to the jail, where he was booked in on the warrant, which showed an original charge of Driving Under the Influence and Minor in Possession.
Officers were dispatched to the School District #2 Bus Barn, in reference to a citizen assist.
Officers responded to an address on Riverview Drive, regarding a citizen assist.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Wilderness Trail, in reference to a welfare check.
Officers responded to an address on Green River Way, regarding check forgery and larceny. This investigation is currently being investigated.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Kansas Way and Bridger Drive, in reference to a parking complaint.
Officers responded to the area of East Railroad Avenue and North 2nd East, regarding a possibly intoxicated male subject.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Shoshone Avenue, in reference to found property.
Officers responded to an address on North 5th East, regarding a parking complaint.
Officers were dispatched to an address on East Teton Boulevard, in reference to a found property report.
Officers responded to an address on Crossbow Drive, regarding a possible fraud scam.
Officers were dispatched to an address on South Riverbend Drive, in reference to questions about a civil problem.
Animal Control Officers responded to the Hampton Inn and Suites, on Wild Horse Canyon Road, regarding a wild horse getting extremely close to the hotel.
Officers and Animal Control Officers were dispatched to the area of Mississippi Drive and Alaska Drive, in reference to an aggressive dog at large.
Officers responded to an address on Evans Street, in regarding a citizen assist.
Officers were dispatched to the Union Pacific Railroad Depot, regarding a subject removal. It was reported that a male passenger was urinating inside the Amtrak train.
Officers responded to an address on Indian Hills Drive, in reference to a citizen assist.
Officers were dispatched to the area of McDonald’s restaurant, regarding a suicidal subject. The subject was located and later transported by ambulance to the hospital.
Officers responded to an address at 98 Uinta Drive, in reference to fireworks.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Green River Way, regarding a juvenile runaway.
The following events were reported on September 29, 2013:
Officers and Ambulance Personnel were dispatched to an address on Daniel Boone, in reference to a male having chest and back pain.
Officers and Ambulance Personnel responded to an address on Bridger Drive, regarding a child that was choking.
Officers and Ambulance Personnel were dispatched to an address on Bramwell Street, in reference to an elderly female that had fallen and could not get up.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Hoover Circle, regarding a skunk in a trap.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Bridger Drive, in reference to a residential burglary. This case is currently being investigated.
Officers responded to the Recreation Center parking lot, regarding a violation of a court order.
Officers and Ambulance Personnel were dispatched to an address on Crossbow Drive, in reference to a female that was dizzy.
Officers responded to an address on Bridger Drive, regarding a residential burglary. This case is currently being investigated.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Shoshone Avenue, in reference to an auto burglary. This case is currently being investigated.
Officers responded to the Maverik Country Store, regarding a group of transients that were bothering customers.
Officers were dispatched to the Red Feather bar, in reference to a hit and run accident that had just occurred.
Officers and Ambulance Personnel responded to an address on Grandview Drive, regarding a female with chest pains.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to the area of Cumorah Way, in reference to a dog at large.
Officers responded to an address on South Wagonwheel Drive, regarding a civil standby.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Bridger Drive, in reference to a possible gun shot that was heard. Officers were unable to locate the source of the noise.
