Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:

The following events were reported on August 15, 2013:


Officers were dispatched to an address on North 3rd East, in reference to an intoxicated subject, possibly injured, wandering the neighborhood.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Jensen Street, in regards to a dead bat, brought into the residence by the reporting party’s cat. The cat was quarantined at the animal shelter and the bat was sent to the State Lab for rabies testing.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to the area of Colorado Drive and Upland Way, in reference to a dog at large.

Officers took a report of a found wallet at the Police Department. The wallet was booked into evidence.

Officers assisted Rocky Mountain Power, with disconnecting the power at a residence on Iowa Street.

Animal Control Officers responded to the area of East 2nd North, in reference to a dog at large.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Pennsylvania Drive, in regards to an abandoned 911 call.

Detectives with the Green River Police Department assisted numerous subjects with completing fingerprint cards at the Police Department.

Officers responded to the Flaming Gorge Loaf and Jug, in reference to a gas drive off.

Officers were dispatched to Lasco Storage, in regards to damage to a tenants camp trailer. Investigation ongoing.

Officers responded to an address on West 2nd North, in reference to a parking complaint.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Stage Place, in regards to a parking complaint.
Officers and Ambulance Personnel responded to the Brewery bar, in reference to an intoxicated female that had fallen off a bar stool and hit her head.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an address on Wyoming Drive, in regards to a barking dog complaint.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Colorado Drive, in reference a dog at large.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Yates Street, in regards to a domestic dispute.

Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Kansas Street, in reference to a dog at large.

Officers were dispatched to an address on Windriver Drive, in regards to a noise complaint.

Officers responded to an address on Bridger Drive, in reference to a citizen assist.

Officers were dispatched to the Green River High School, in regards to a report of a reckless driver.

Officers responded to the area of Arizona Street and later to the area of Schultz Street, in reference to juvenile problems.
