Chris Steffen, Chief of Police reports:
Officers responded to an address on West Teton regarding a dog at large.
Officers arrested Benjamin Scott Hughes 38 years of age, from Green River on a Warrant issued out of the Rock Springs Municipal Court for failure to pay fines on a Driving Under Suspension charge.
Officers received a complaint of abandoned vehicles on South 1st West. Vehicles were tagged as abandoned and will be towed unless moved from the area.
A Green River City employee found a container in a local park and turned it in as found property. Anyone leaving personal items in the Centenial Park that can identify the property may pick up the items as the Police Department.
Animal Control Officers responded to West Teton in regards to an injured bird.
Officers assisted Adult Probation & Parole on Commerce.
Officers responded to Wilkes regarding at REDDI report.
Officers responded to an address on Cedar regarding a nuisance property complaint. Owner was advised.
Officers responded to Knotty Pine in regards to a parking complaint. The owner of the vehicle moved the vehicle.
Officers responded to 2nd North in reference to a deer vs vehicle crash.
Officers responded to East Flaming Gorge in regards to a complaint of a careless driver. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
Officers took a report of a fraud by check against a business on Uinta. The complaint is being investigated.
Animal Control Officers responded to a business on Flaming Gorge Way regarding a bird in the business.
Officers responded to an address on Florida regarding a subject possibly under the influence of a controlled substance. Investigation is ongoing.
Officers assisted medical personnel on 4th South.
Officers responded to Cumorah regarding an adult male subject threatening children.
Officers responded to an address on Andrews regarding a possible fraud.
Officers responded to a local hotel regarding a 911 hang up call.
Officers responded to 98 Uinta Drive regarding complaints of fireworks and possible shots.
Officers handled a dog at large on Bridger.
Officers responded to an address on Alamosa regarding a nuisance animal.
Officers were requested to attend to a subject outside a business on Flaming Gorge Way. The subject appeared to be passed out. He was unresponsive and was transported to the hospital via ambulance.
Officers responded to a local business regarding a 911 call. The call was accidental.
Officers responded to a complaint of an abandoned vehicle on Flaming Gorge. The vehicle was tagged.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Doe Dr. regarding two dogs at large.
Officers responded to a complaint of dogs running at large on 2nd North.
Animal Control Officers responded to 1st East regarding a dog running at large. The dog was caught and returned to the owner.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Hitching Post in regards to an animal stuck in window well.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Idaho regarding a snake. The snake was caught and relocated.
Officers responded to a parking/abandoned vehicle complaint on Virginia.
Officers responded to Alabama and Arizona regarding a driving complaint. Officers located the vehicle and issued a warning.
Officers received a complaint of suspicious activity on 2nd South. The complaint appeared to be unfounded.
Officers responded to a report of 2 male subjects fighting in the street on 3rd South. Officers located the two individuals, neither wished to pursue charges against the other and the issue had been resolved.
Officers were dispatched to 5th South regarding a possible theft.
Officers responded to an address on Keith regarding a residential alarm being activated.
Officers received a complaint of a dog in traffic on 2nd South.
Officers responded to a disturbance on 3rd South. Disturbance was resolved when Officers arrived.
A subject hiking in Utah near Brownie Lake found property belonging to a Green River resident and turned it over to Police.
Officers responded to a disturbance on 1st West. Persons involved realized it had been a misunderstanding.
Officers responded to a location on Shoshone Ave regarding a complaint of a male subject causing a disturbance. The subject was located and issued a warning for disturbing the peace.
Jesse Shea Barouch age 26, of Green River was arrested for Public Intoxication and Resisting Arrest after being found next to a local business.
Officers responded to Astle and Uinta regarding a report of a young child riding a bike. Officers located the young child. He was identified by his name written on a backpack he was wearing, and was three years old. He was returned home. He was several blocks from home and his parents did not realize he was missing.
Officers responded to a residential alarm on Fawn.
Animal Control Officers were requested to check the welfare of a horse at the FMC horse corrals.
Officers took a report of a credit card being used to purchase items on line from someone other than the owner of the card.
Officers responded to 4th South for a parking complaint.
Officers received a call from a concerned subject that they had not heard from someone who was ill and wished Officers to try to locate the person for a welfare check.
Officers received a complaint of a female adult harassing a young child on Cumorah.
Officers responded to an address on Arizona regarding an assault and a trespassing complaint between a mother and daughter.
Officers responded to an address on 5th East regarding a malicious mischief.
Officers responded to a residential alarm on Logan.
Officers responded to 5th East regarding two dogs at large.
Officers assisted medical personnel at a business on Flaming Gorge.
Officers responded to the construction area on FMC road for a report of children damaging the equipment in the area. Officers arrived and found no damage to any property.
Officers received a complaint of subject possibly causing damage to property on Trona. Officers contacted the reporting person and determined there was no damage.
Officers responded to Medicine Bow Park regarding a 911 call. The call was accidental.
Officers responded to Hillside regarding a missing child, the child was found by the father.
Officers received a complaint of a vehicle driving erratically on FMC Road. The described vehicle was not located.
Officers assisted persons with a civil issue on Logan St.
A phone which had been found during Flaming Gorge Days was identified by and returned to the owner.
Animal Control Officers responded to an address on Cedar regarding Nuisance Animal and Too Many Animals. Owner was advised.
Officers took a complaint of two gas drive offs at a local business.
Officers were requested to the Post Office for found keys. The owner was located and the keys were returned.
