The following events were reported on July 3, 2013:
Officers and Ambulance personnel were dispatched to an address on Trona Drive, in reference to an 18 year old male with stomach pains.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Logan, in reference to a barking dog complaint. Officers made contact with the owner and they were advised.
Officers and Fire Personnel were dispatched to an address at 98 Uinta Drive, in reference to a garbage can emitting smoke.
Officers investigated a Hit & Run report on Jefferson Way. Investigation ongoing.
Officers were dispatched to an address on North 5th East, in reference to a group of transients being seen exiting a neighbors boat that was parked in the area. Contact was made with the owner of the boat and they advised that they allowed the transients to sleep in the boat.
Officers investigated a parking complaint on Cumorah Way.
Officers were dispatched to the Castle Rock Medical Center, in reference to a Fraud report. Investigation ongoing.
Officers were dispatched to the Green River Police Department lobby, in reference to a larceny report, as well as an assault report. Investigation ongoing.
Officers were dispatched to the Union Pacific Railroad Depot, in reference to a group of transients that were located trespassing on a train that was pulling into the Depot. The transients were located and issued warnings for trespassing.
Officers located a Juvenile Runaway from Rock Springs, that had been entered NCIC earlier that day. The juvenile was taken into custody and released to their parents.
The following events were reported on July 4, 2013:
Officers and Ambulance personnel were dispatched to the 1400 Bridger Apartment Complex in reference to a female subject having allergic type reactions to new medication that she was prescribed.
Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Trona Drive, for a complaint of a barking dog. Upon arrival everything was quiet and the dog was not located.
Officers and Ambulance personnel were dispatched to the 400 block of East 2nd North for a 59 year old male complaining of back pain and difficulty breathing.
Officers and Ambulance personnel were dispatched to the Castle Rock Convalescent Center in reference to an 89 year old female that fell and was complaining of shoulder and hip pain, patient was transported to the hospital.
Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Logan Street for a welfare check of a person that had not been seen in several days. The subject was located at another address and advised that they were fine.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to the area of 545 West 2nd North in reference to a domesticated parrot that was observed sitting on a fence in that area that did not belong to any of the neighbors.
Officers were dispatched to the Bridger Loaf and Jug in reference to two (2) gas drive offs that occurred the night before. These reports are currently being investigated.
Officers and Ambulance personnel were originally dispatched to the area of 350 South Wagonwheel in reference to a suicidal subject. During the course of the investigation, Officers discovered that Brian J. Trotta, 52 years old of Green River, had physically assaulted a female at that location. Trotta was ultimately arrested for Strangulation of a Household Member (Felony), Aggravated Assault and Battery (Felony) and Battery of a Household Member (Misdemeanor).
Officers were dispatched an address on West Virginia in reference to a Hit & Run accident that occurred in the Smith’s Food and Drug parking lot. Investigation ongoing.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Aspen Street in reference to subjects going door to door asking for donations for cancer. Officers were unable to locate the individuals.
Officers investigated the report of an abandoned vehicle in the area of West Flaming Gorge Way. Investigation ongoing.
Officers were dispatched to an address on North 4th East, in reference to an abandoned 911 call. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that an elderly subject at that address had fallen and could not get up. Officers assisted the individual and checked for injuries.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Windriver Drive, in reference to a found property report. The subject at that address had located a Colorado license plate and wanted to turn it in.
A report was taken at an address on Oklahoma Drive, in reference to Threats being made to a subject by way of Facebook. Investigation ongoing.
Officers and Ambulance personnel were dispatched to an address on Jensen Street, in reference to a 69 year old female that was unconscious and breathing. The subject was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
A report of found property was taken at the Post Office. A set of keys was located by an individual and the keys were later booked into GRPD property.
Officers assisted a subject at an address on South Wagonwheel, pertaining to questions from an earlier reported incident.
A 29 year old female, Stacey Vernon of Green River, was arrested on a valid warrant. Vernon was transported to the Sweetwater County Detention Facility, where she was booked in on Charges of Failure to Appear/Order to show Cause on a claim through Child Support Services.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Wilderness Trail, in reference to Trespassing. A subject at that residence wanted her ex-boyfriend issued a trespassing warning for the address.
Officers investigated an abandoned vehicle on South Wagonwheel. Investigation ongoing.
Officers assisted a subject on Ironwood, in reference to a noise complaint.
Animal Control Officers were called to an address on East 3rd South, in reference to an injured bird.
Officers assisted a subject on West Railroad with a parking complaint.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Wilkes at Evans, in reference to fireworks.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Indian Hills and Arapahoe, in reference to fireworks.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Miller Street and Wilkes Drive, in reference to fireworks.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Crossbow, in reference to fireworks.
Officers investigated more complaints of fireworks on Windriver Drive.
Officers were called to the area of Idaho Street for fireworks.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Colorado Circle, in reference to fireworks.
Officers investigated complaints of more fireworks in the area of Veterans Park.
