Jason K Merrifield, age 27, and Edward D Tesdal, age 23, both of Green River were arrested on 5/1/13 at 12:56 am on W Teton Blvd for Possession of Marijuana. Officers were dispatched to an address on W Teton Blvd regarding a disturbance call. Subsequent investigation showed Tesdale and Merrifield were in possession of marijuana. Both suspects were taken into custody and transported to jail without incident.

Raymond M Martinez, age 31, of Green River was arrested on 4/30/13 at 10:39 am at the Police Department. Martinez was aware of a warrant for his arrest for Contempt of Court and surrendered himself.

A Malicious Mischief report was taken on Maryland Drive when the owner of a maroon Pontiac G 6 reported her car “keyed” by an unknown subject.

Officers investigated a crash at the E Flaming Gorge Loaf and Jug parking lot when a vehicle driven by Marcus Salazar backed into a pickup truck driven by Amber Boynton. No injuries were reported and damage to the Salazar’s vehicle ws estimated at over $1000 and under $1000 to the Boynton’s pickup truck.

Officers responded to a report of Larceny at the Expedition Academy when a student advised someone stole his keys when he left the classroom. The victim later contacted police and advised his keys were returned to him.

Animal Control Officers were dispatched to Anvil Drive regarding an animal carcass. A dead dog was removed.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel at the Castle Rock Medical Center with a female who was feeling light headed.
