Officers from the police department along with deputy sheriff assisted a mine bus stuck at the corner of N. 4 W. and W. Flaming Gorge. About nine minutes later officers investigated a two vehicle collision at the same intersection.
Officers investigated a total of six vehicle crashes at the entrance to Green River High School. The entrance to the high school off of Upland was very slick from the snow that fell the previous evening and was the contributing factor to these crashes.

Officers tagged a dark blue Honda passenger car as abandoned at E. Teton and Bridger Dr. after a business owner called to try to locate the owner so he could plow the snow in his parking lot.
Animal Control Officers conducted a welfare check on a dog after a neighbor reported hearing the dog in distress on the 1800 block of Arkansas. The dog was found to be ok, it just didn’t want to go outside due to the inclement weather.
Animal Control Officers were dispatched to an animal welfare check on the 300 block of Bramwell St. Animal Control Officers discussed the animal’s need for shelter when outside and ways of controlling the nuisance barking with the owner.
Officers took a report at the police department from a couple who found fraudulent charges on their credit card statement. The case is under investigation.
Officers were dispatched to investigate a non injury accident at the Tollgate Station on W. Flaming Gorge Way after a semi trailer collided with the canopy above the gas pumps.
Officers were dispatched to a residence on Hoback St. to a suspicious circumstance call where a door to the residence was observed to propped open. Officers found the resident at home and everything was ok.
