On March 9th 2013, Officers took a report of a stolen woman’s wallet. The owner noticed unauthorized charges on the cards at businesses throughout the Sweetwater County.
Approximately 30 unauthorized charges were made on the stolen credit and debit cards totaling approximately $1400 dollars. An investigator contacted the numerous businesses and was able to identify two suspects. Enough evidence was collected to obtain a warrant for search and seizure from the Circuit Court in the Third Judicial District for two apartments in Green River. On March 15, the two warrants were served. As a result of the searches, property purchased with the stolen cards was recovered. The two suspects, a male juvenile and a female juvenile admitted to taking the wallet and using the cards inside for the numerous purchases. The case has been referred to the Sweetwater County Prosecutor’s Office for charges.
Maverick reported a gas drive off. Due to the security cameras at the business, the vehicle, its license number and the driver was recorded. Officers are in the process of locating and interviewing the driver.
On March 20th at about 0930 hours, a resident at the 1750 Hitching Post apartment complex reported to Police that there was a male subject that had just crashed into her vehicle, was suicidal and was trying to break into her apartment. Officers arrived at the location and made contact with the reporting person and the male subject. The male subject was identified as Andrew Lee Lovato 29 years old from Rock Springs. He was arrested. Charges under review are open container, hit and run crash, stalking.
Lucas J Janicki age 18 from Green River was arrested on a warrant issued out of the Circuit Court of the Third Judicial District for violation of a court order.
On March 21 at about 2:05 am, Officers assisted ambulance personnel for a subject bleeding from the head.
Officers responded to an alarm at a local business.
Officers responded to Center St in reference to a dog at large.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Wilkes for a sick child.
Officers were dispatched to an address on Riverview for a civil problem.
Officers were dispatched to assist medical personnel at 1400 Uinta.
ACO’s investigated a call of a dog at large at Andrews Park.
Officers assisted medical personnel at Mansface Terrace.
ACO’s were dispatched to 700 Schultz in regards to a dog running loose, but had been contained.
Officers were requested to an address on 3rd North regarding a domestic dispute.
