On Friday March 15, a vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation, and the driver was identified as Cheri J. Braden. The Officer learned that Braden was driving with a suspended license and that there was a current arrest warrant out of Sweetwater County for failure to appear. She was arrested and booked into the Sweetwater County Detention Center on both charges.

Officers are investigating a hit and run at Stratton Meyer Park. The owner had parked the vehicle the vehicle while they went for a walk on the Green Belt. A suspect vehicle has been identified and Police are following up the lead.

On Friday March 15, Officers arrested a William Gregory Reeves from Green River, on a Sweetwater County Warrant for a Domestic Battery charge. He was booked into the Sweetwater County Detention Center.

On Friday March 15, Officers investigated a crash at Fastenal Business. Peter Collins driver of the vehicle was driving into a parking space in front of the business and accidently hit the gas instead of the brake and ran the vehicle into the building causing major damage to the structure. He was cited for inattentive driving.

On Friday March 15, Officers took a report of a malicious mischief regarding a house getting egged in Pioneer Park.

On Saturday March 16, at about 0030 hours the Green River Youth Home reported two runways from their facility. Both runaways were located about 10 hours later. One was returned to the Youth Home, one was placed in the Sweetwater County Detention Center.

On Friday March 15, at about 2250 hours, Officers were dispatched to 420 Wilkes in reference to loud music coming from one of the apartments. The resident was talked to and warned about turning up their music so loud it disturbs the peace of the neighborhood.

On Sunday March 17, an Officer stopped a vehicle for committing traffic violations. After making contact with the driver, the Officer believed the driver to be under the influence of alcohol. The driver identified as Whitney L Santuff from Green River performed field sobriety tests and was subsequently arrested for DWUI and booked into the Sweetwater County Detention Center.

On Sunday March 17 at about 0200 hours Officers took a report from a juvenile female and her guardians that she had been assaulted at a house party on Faith Dr. The party was attended by numerous teenagers both adult and juvenile. Later in the morning Officers were notified by the Hospital that they had a male juvenile in the facility that was reporting being stabbed in the hand while at the same party earlier that morning. According to statements made to the Police alcohol and drug use by some attending the party may have been a contributing factor to the altercations. The investigation in ongoing.

On Sunday March 17 at about 0400 hours Officers were dispatched to the Green Gander Bar in reference to a possible fight. A customer of the Bar had been asked to leave several times due to them being intoxicated and causing problems. Officers contacted the customer and observed his speech was slurred and that he was unsteady on his feet. He refused to leave the bar when asked by the bartender and the Police. When Officers attempted to arrest him he resisted by pulling away from officers. The subject indentified as Benjamin J. Searle from Green River was arrested and charged with public intoxication and interference with a Police Officer. He was booked into the Sweetwater County Detention Center.

On Sunday March 17 at about 0555 hours, Officers were dispatched to a barking dog on East Teton. The owner had received a verbal warning on a prior occasion about the barking dog, and was issued a cite for nuisance animal.

On Sunday March 17, Officers took a report of damage to vehicle on Colorado Drive. The vehicle had been scratched down the passenger side of the truck.

On Sunday March 17, Officers conducted a welfare check at a residence on Birch. A concerned citizen reported that two children were not being properly cared for because the parent was too intoxicated to care for them. Officers determined that the children were being properly cared for.

Due to the high winds on Sunday March 17 a tree branch was blown from a tree and landed on a parked police vehicle.

On Sunday March 17 at 1757 hours at a local business, Officers conducted a civil stand-by for the exchanging of children from one parent to another.

On Sunday March 17, Officers responded to a residence due to an alarm going off. Officers checked the location and everything appeared to be in order.

On Sunday March 17 at about 0700 hours, Officers were dispatched to a local business regarding an alarm going off. Everything appeared to be ok.

On Saturday March 16, Officers were dispatched to a local business in regards to suspicious activity by the driver. Reporting person was unable to give a description of the vehicle, officers were unable to locate anyone or any vehicle in the area.

On Saturday March 16 at about 2015 hours Officers were dispatched to a barking dog on Daniel Boone.

On Saturday March 16 at about 1725 hours Officers were dispatched to an apartment at 1400 Bridger Dr. Parent wished to talk to Officers regarding their 7 year old son being kicked by another young child in the area.

On Saturday March 16 at 1800 hours Officers were dispatched to the Railroad yard for a transient walking on and around the tracks.

On Saturday March 16, Officers were contacted by the people who had previously reported their bike being stolen. After posting a picture of the bike on Face Book the bike was returned.

On Saturday March 16 at about 1548 hours ACO were dispatched to the area of New Hampshire and East Teton regarding a dog at large.

On Saturday March 16 at about 1525 hours Officers were dispatched to the Rec Center to help control some subjects who were out of control at the indoor soccer tournament. One of the fans started to assault one of the players. The fan left prior to Officers arrival, his identity is unknown, no injuries were reported.

On Saturday March 16 Officers were dispatched to assist EMT’s at the GRHS in reference to a subject with a possible broken ankle.

On Saturday March 16 at 1040 hours ACO’s were dispatched to the area of 1750 Hitching Post in reference to a barking dog.

On Saturday March 16 at about 0010 hours, Officers noticed what appeared to be people camping out in the Scotts Bottom area. Upon further investigation, the campers were Cub Scouts camping overnight.

On Friday March 15 at about 2250 hours Officers were dispatched to an address on East Flaming Gorge Way. A resident reported someone kicked on their door and yelled obscenities. The reporting person did not wish to be contacted, Officers were unable to find anyone in the area.

On Friday March 15 at 1440 hours ACO’s were dispatched to an address on Iowa in reference to a dog at large.

On Friday March 15 at 1410 hours, a citizen reported receiving phone calls from inmates inside the Wyoming State Penitentiary. They were informed on how to get that stopped.

On Friday March 15 at about 1230 hours a REDDI report was given to local law enforcement. The vehicle was reportedly in Green River, however Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

On Friday March 15 Officers were dispatched to an address on Wilkes. Someone had seen a post on a face book page and was concerned that the person was possibly suicidal. Officers contacted the necessary people and everything was ok.

On Friday March 15 Officers were dispatched to the ATM on Uinta in reference to the alarm going off. A worker had set it off.
