Dustin T Jones, age 18, of Green River was cited for Passing a School Bus on 3/4/13 at 08:46 am on Hitching Post Drive. Officers were dispatched to school bus barn on Monroe Ave regarding a vehicle passing a school bus. Information was obtained from the bus driver and subsequent information showed Jones was the driver of the vehicle that passed the school bus. Jones was questioned and admitted to the violation.
Officers investigated a crash in the alley behind 455 W 2nd N when a pickup truck owned by John Offenbacher rolled out of gear and into an old shelter and then into parked Jeep owned by Herbert Mount. No injuries were reported and damage to the Offenbacher truck was estimated at over $1000 and under $1000 to the Mount’s Jeep. No estimate for damage to the shelter was reported.
A skateboard found on Colorado Drive and California Drive was turned in to the GRPD.
Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Shoshone Drive with an 82 year old male who was disoriented.
Officers responded to an alarm of E Teton Blvd; it was determined to be accidental.
Officers responded to a residence on W Railroad Street regarding a possible Fraud. Officers spoke with the victim’s son and determined it was a telemarketer and not a scam.
Officers responded to Wild Horse Canyon Road regarding a 911 hang up call. A child was playing with the phone and accidentally dialed 911.
