Jacob Kunkle, age 32, of Green River was arrested on 2/16/13 at 11:04 pm on E Railroad Street on a warrant out of Circuit Court for Failure to Pay Fines on the original charge of Interference with a Police Officer. Officers recognized Kunkle from previous contacts and check him for outstanding warrants. Dispatch advised of the arrest warrant and he was taken into custody and transported to jail.

Officers investigated a report of a Violation of a Protection Order on Knotty Pine Street when the victim advised her husband sent a friend over to watch her while she moved out of her residence.
Officers contacted the subject and asked him to leave. A report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.

A juvenile problem was reported on Shoshone Ave when a mother reported her teenage son was out of control. No assault was reported and no arrests were made.

A report of a Domestic Battery was taken on Bridger Drive when a son and his mother had a verbal dispute that turned physical. The individuals were separated for the night and a report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review.

A report of Child Abuse was taken on Cumorah Way; the investigation is ongoing.

A trespass warning was issued on Wyoming Drive when the victim advised she is seeking a divorce from her husband and she does not want him to come to her current residence. The warning was issued and the subject said he understood the warning.

Officers took a report of an attempted fraud on Trail Drive when the victim stated she received an e-mail stating she is the beneficiary of a large inheritance. The victim realized it is a scam and just wanted to report it to the police.

A toy gun was found at the Uinta Loaf and Jug and turned over to the PD.

Officers responded to a business on W Flaming Gorge Way when the management of a business asked to have a transient removed from their business. The subject was contacted and asked to leave and he complied.

A welfare check was initiated on Cedar Street when a son advised he could not reach his mother by telephone. The mother was contacted and asked to call her son.

Officers responded to a 911 hang up call on N 3rd W; the male subject inadvertently dialed 911.

Officers responded to a report of a gunshot on S 5th E; it turned out to be the beginning of the fireworks show for the Crystal Classic.

Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on W Flaming Gorge Way. A traveler was taking a break and sleeping in his car.

Officers responded to a dog at large complaint on E Teton Blvd; the dog’s owner was contacted and given a warning.

Officers responded to a REDDI report on N 3rd E; the car was located but unoccupied.

Officers responded to parking complaints on Shoshone Ave and Bramwell Street; owners were contacted and warned.

Officers responded to a complaint of juveniles drinking alcohol on Faith Drive, behind the Baptist Church. The area was checked and officers did not locate the juveniles.

Officers responded to a REDDI report on I-80 at mile post 89 westbound. The vehicle was located and the driver was sober.

Officers assisted ambulance personnel on Trona Drive with a 68 year old female having an asthma attack.

Officers responded to a report of a Domestic Dispute on Wilderness Trail; the dispute was verbal and the male half left prior to police arriving.
